Dear Parents,

One quarter down! We are excited that we have made progress this school year and that we have learned much about student “learning.” The pandemic has challenged us to continue to look for ways to assure that students are gaining the skills and knowledge they need to fulfill whatever purpose God has for their lives. Thank you for your flexibility as we continue to look at our school calendar and how we can best accomplish our goals with the current restrictions on large group gatherings and travel. We covet your prayers as we navigate through these things. 
I am pleased that our varsity sports teams were able to complete their regular-season schedules, that some after school activities for other students will begin soon, and that many of our Temporary Remote Students (TRA) have returned to the campus. Again, keep praying that we can continue to operate safely and encourage students to wash their hands, wear their masks, and social distance as much as possible. 
I also hope you are allowing your child to eat our school lunch. The USDA has provided the funds for all school children to get a “free” lunch every day. I hope you are taking advantage of this benefit provided by your tax dollars. Please keep a close eye on our calendar for the next few months – some activities may be rescheduled, some may go on as planned, and some may have to be canceled. Yes, we are still in a “state of unknowing” at times. BUT, God knows all things and our trust is in Him.  God bless each of you.
