Lake Center Christian School periodically has positions open in both Certified and Classified areas. The faculty member shall:

  1. Teach students according to the school philosophy, goals, and course of study.
  2. Work effectively with students of various ages and grade levels
  3. Prepare and implement technology-focused lessons and keep plans the same readily available as requested by administration.
  4. Collaborate with other faculty in planning for use of technology into classroom lessons/curriculum
  5. Utilize various educational software, hardware and technology tools to enhance student learning
  6. Stay up to date with current technology trends and resources to best support student learning
  7. Ability to integrate technology into various content areas effectively and creatively
  8. Participate in school and community affairs as relevant to the position.
  9. Communicate student progress to parents through quarterly report cards
  10. Supervise and keep inventory of supplies and equipment. 
  11.  Notify parents and/or administrator of behavioral issues or concerns

Lake Center Christian School is seeking an Intervention Specialist for Grades 7-12 for the 2023-2024 school year. 

Description:  Responsibilities include: coordinating/writing service plans, providing data and input to public schools to create an IEP,  implementing accommodations and modifications, teaching, student assessment, parent communication, and working closely with teachers, educational aides, SLP, OT, PT and Director of Special Services on all special needs issues.  Strong candidates will possess: the ability to take initiative in responding to students’ needs in a manner which is Christ-like, respectful and effective; the ability to maintain student confidentiality; and the ability to be flexible when working with students in a variety of situations.  Candidates must be proficient in using basic computer technology; PC, laptop, iPad, etc…

Lake Center is seeking part-time Teacher Assistant – Second Grade.
