Welcome to the LCCS
Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Program!
What is PTF?
Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is an organization made up of parent volunteers to act as a service organization to LCCS teachers, administration, parents, and students. It is our goal to foster fellowship in a Christian atmosphere by providing social and informational events. Research has shown that when families actively participate in their children’s education, children earn better grades, show improved behavior, and are more positive in their attitude toward school.
Being a part of PTF is simple! All you have to do is participate! All parents of enrolled students are considered members of PTF. The monthly meetings will consist of reviewing the minutes from the previous meeting, looking ahead to upcoming events, and forming committees to help plan those events. Your involvement can be whatever time you can give. It is a desire of the PTF that every family will want to participate in some way. We realize that time is a precious commodity to all and anytime you can offer will be most helpful.
New Family Orientation, Prayer Partners, Picture Day, Book Fair, Classroom Parties, Speech Meet, Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Talent Show/Carnival, Service Projects, Christmas Shoppe…just to name a few! Ways to get involved will be posted throughout the year!
Feel free to contact email@example.com with any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting and working with each one of you!
