Gather for Lake Center Christian’s 38th Annual Auction to celebrate the school’s past and present and raise funds for the future. The online auction is Wednesday, April 17-27, and a live dinner auction is Saturday, April 27, from 4-8 PM, at Lake Center Christian School in Hartville.

Mrs. Laura Kell, Auction Coordinator, said the auction will highlight Lake Center’s rich, 77-year history and its “beautiful” body of believers. This includes the students, families, faculty, and staff. The live event also will emphasize what is ahead for LCCS. Lake Center’s mission remains firm: to assist Christian families and their churches in equipping students for lifelong learning and service to Christ. Christ. The school graduates young adults who are future-ready, service-oriented, biblically educated, and eager to make a godly imprint on the world.

This year’s auction theme “Rooted in Truth, Growing in Faith, Walking in Christ” focuses on Lake Center’s calling to help raise generations of difference makers. The theme is based on Colossians 2:6-7 – “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

Mrs. Kell said her family was led by God to accept employment and enroll their children at LCCS, a K-12 private Christian school. They are excited to honor God with their contributions this year and witness His plans unfold for LCCS.

Auction Sponsors Champion Lake Center’s Mission

The auction, a longstanding tradition, is the fundraising event at Lake Center Christian School and is made possible with the support of community stakeholders who champion the biblical foundation laid by LCCS. Lake Center appreciates the Auction Sponsors through Feb. 27: Hartville Kitchen; Hartville Hardware & Lumber; The Christ Foundation; Splish Splash Auto Bath; The K Company inc.; Intech Computer Solutions; the Amy Wengerd Group; Sitelogic; Kern’s Florist and Greenhouse; That Plumber; Amison Dental; Inter-State Studios; Spoonhower Orthodontics; and the Byler, Venarge and Kane families.

Seeking Testimonies of Impact

This year’s auction will feature short testimonials from current and past Lake Center students, faculty, and families on how LCCS has positively impacted their faith walk.

For example, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan and Danielle Washburn shared why they appreciate partnering with Lake Center for their son’s kindergarten experience.

“So far, we’ve seen him grow in his understanding of letters, and numbers, and even start to read. What has been most exciting is listening to him sing songs about God’s love for him that he is learning in the classroom,” the couple said of their student, Wesley.
