Students who are taught with from a Biblical worldview.

Why Lake Center?

God has given us parents, as believers, a very specific mandate and calling to teach and raise up our children according to His Word. Deuteronomy 11 implores us to fix His words in our hearts and minds, to teach them to our children when we’re at home or going about daily life. This mandate stretches beyond just the role of parents. The responsibility needs to be shared by pastors, teachers, coaches and mentors as well.

When children receive the same message at home, their local church and through Christian Education, those 3 pillars of Christian community build a lasting foundation in a child that stands the test of time. We believe that this is truly the only way that we can raise up our children to know who God is, know who they are and know what it means to love and serve God. Being a Christian school, we have the freedom to infuse Biblical worldview into everything we do, say, and teach. This means that your child will receive an education in a godly environment, surrounded by peers who share those same beliefs and teachers and faculty who exemplify Christ.

At Lake Center, we exist to assist Christian families and their churches in equipping students for lifelong learning and service to Christ. Our mission and core values remind us of what makes Lake Center different, and are the driving forces behind everything we do.

We believe in a Biblical worldview and infuse the importance of scripture and who God is in all we do. We nurture Christian character through Godly role models, chapels, and service opportunities. We commit to academic excellence and prepare students for college and career with a comprehensive and challenging curriculum. We value diversity in ethnicity, economics, and learning styles. We are passionate about service to Christ, so we teach our students to seek opportunities to selflessly serve others while seeking God’s plan for their lives.

"Lake Center Christian School is the third strand of a three-fold cord (the parent, the church, and the school) that strives to educate every student with a Biblical Worldview."

We live in a society and culture that is constantly being influenced by a variety of different views, opinions, and agendas. Through social media, media in general, and even public school systems, these secular worldviews are being taught to our children, sometimes even without our knowledge. That is why it is so important that we know what’s being taught to our children and we are actively influencing those decisions. Because Biblical worldview doesn’t happen by accident, it’s taught on purpose.

If you are a parent of, or know of a family with, school-age kids, now is the perfect time to see what all Lake Center Christian School has to offer.
