Mr. Chris Ramsburg, a familiar face in the Lake Center community as a longtime supporter, parent of LCCS alums Morgan and Christian, and former board member, approached Mrs. Emily Meraj, 7-12th grade art teacher, and her students. Junior Victoria Wilson,Campus Pastor Mr. Jeff Knori and junior Luke Sommers are part of Lake Center’s mission team traveling to the Dominican Republic March 16-23. The team is seeking financial support to fund their ministry work.

Lake Center Students Put Faith into Action in the DR

The DR Mission Team of juniors and seniors and ten adult chaperones, including Campus Pastor Mr. Jeff Knori and some LCCS faculty members and alumni, will aid impoverished Haitian villages in the vast sugarcane fields of the DR from March 16-23. Their service will include construction work, food distribution, Vacation Bible School with children, evangelism, and prayer.
