Lake Center Christian Hosting “Uplift 2025” — All are Invited

By Emiy Chesnic
Lake Center Christian School invites the public to Uplift 2025, a powerful evening of worship, testimony, and encouragement, taking place on Saturday, June 7 on the front lawn of the campus, located at 12893 Kaufman Ave. NW, Hartville.
This special evening, beginning with a time for fellowship, concessions, and The Artisan Coffee Truck at 6:00 PM, and worship starting at 7:00 PM, is designed for the entire community. Attendees are encouraged to bring guests, as well as lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a night of praise under the open summer sky.
Organized by Micah Wright, a 2024 graduate of Lake Center Christian School, Uplift was born out of a desire to bring people together in a season that can often feel divided or discouraging.
“As an LCCS alumni who is passionate about music, production, and my faith, I saw an opportunity to create an event like Uplift that could bring together our school family and our community under one goal: to uplift praise to Christ in our dark world,” Wright said. “Uplift can bring people together in worship, inspire hope, and refocus our hearts on glorifying God, while also creating an opportunity for LCCS students and alumni to use their God-given gifts and talents to serve others and make a difference right where they are in our community.”
The evening features two worship teams:
-
LCCS STDNT Worship, a group of Lake Center senior high students who lead a weekly chapel at the school, will open the event and set the tone for the night.
-
After Mr. Jeff Knori, Lake Center’s Campus Pastor, shares a short message, Alumni Worship Co.—a collective of LCCS graduates—will lead the second half of the evening, returning to worship and share their hearts for Christ through music.
“Our headline group, Alumni Worship Co., is made up of graduates who are coming back to pour into the community that shaped them. Mr. Knori’s message will tie the evening together with encouragement and truth. It means a lot to us that he’s sharing this night with us before moving on from LCCS,” said Wright.
This evening is not just for current students and alumni. It’s an open invitation to the entire community—families, neighbors, churches, and friends.
“We invite our surrounding community to attend because Uplift is more than just a school event; it is a night designed to refresh your spirit and bring us together in unity through the collective worship of Christ,” Wright said. “In a world that can feel heavy sometimes, this is one night where we can come together, sing, and remember that there is hope.”
Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family, with proceeds helping to cover equipment and production expenses. Tickets are available at lccs.com/uplift or at the Welcome Table at the event. Those with questions should contact LCCS Special Programs Coordinator Mrs. Laura Kell at [email protected].
