Application Access
1. Submit a Student Inquiry
Begin by submitting an inquiry for one student you are interested in enrolling. This allows us to add your family to our admissions system and begin the application process. If you have multiple students to apply for, that can be done after you are added to the system.
2. Watch for Your Portal Email (available Oct 15)
Once your inquiry is processed, watch for an email from [email protected] with instructions to access the LCCS Parent Portal and create your Blackbaud account. Email [email protected] if you have trouble signing in.
3. Follow the Application Checklist
Sign in to the LCCS Parent Portal and follow your student’s Application Checklist to complete the application and submit all required materials.
Your Admissions Hub
The LCCS Parent Portal is your central hub throughout the admissions process. From the portal, you can complete application requirements, track your progress, and receive important information as our Admissions Team guides your family from application through the final admissions decision.

The one-time application fee is $50 and is non-refundable. It covers administrative costs and does not guarantee a seat or a place in the pool.
Admissions FAQ
We review applications on a rolling basis as the committee completes each family’s review, including the family interview. We don’t rank applicants by application date, but seats in open grades are limited, so a grade can fill before every application is reviewed. Applying early gives you the best chance at a seat in an open grade or the ability to be offered a seat from the waiting pool.
After your review, you’ll see one of three decisions in the Parent Portal:
- Enrollment seat for 2027-28. You’ll receive instructions to accept.
- Waiting pool for 2027-28. Your child is a strong candidate, but no seat is available now. We offer seats to waiting pool families as they open.
- Not a good fit at this time. This applies to the current year only, and you’re welcome to reapply in the future.
When a grade fills, it moves to waiting pool review, and applications received after that point are considered for the pool.
Not strictly. We review applications as the committee completes each one, and we don’t rank by application date. But seats are limited, so applying early to an open grade improves your chances.
It means your child is a strong candidate, but no seat is currently available. If one opens, the committee may offer it to a pool family. A place in the pool is not a promise of a seat.
Most often, between March and August, as families of current students change their plans. We’ll ask for periodic application updates, share new updates with pool families, and offer enrollment as soon as possible.
The committee evaluates overall fit with our school when a seat opens. The application date does not rank families in the pool.
Yes. Each child has their own checklist and decision, and grades may have different statuses. Submit an inquiry for one student, and you can add siblings once your family is in the system.
No. If you’ve chosen another school, let us know, and we’ll offer the seat to another family.
No. Your pool placement carries into 2027-28 and you won’t pay the fee again. We’ll email you to confirm your interest and update your information.
The committee doesn’t feel LCCS is the right match this year. It isn’t permanent, and you may reapply in the future.
No. It covers the committee’s review, whatever the decision.
