Favorite thing about LCCS: I enjoy the interaction with students as I see them develop and grow. I also appreciate the fellowship of the faculty and staff.
Favorite Scripture: I Corinthians 15:10
I first realized the extent of my calling as a teacher when, after my first year of teaching I left and worked at another job for a year. As I was working in that position, I realized that I had no significant impact on anyone and that I wanted to have that kind of impact. I then returned to teaching with a renewed vision.
My prayer for my students is that they would find God’s plan for them, knowing that a struggle in one area does not in any way make them less valuable. That they would see their eternal value in being a dearly loved creation and that would inspire them to return that love to Him and share it with others.
