Lewis, Brenda
Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up on 10 acres outside of New London, OH and am the youngest of three. My brother and his wife live in South Carolina and my sister and her family live in Middleburg Heights OH. I graduated from Malone University. I currently live in Canal Fulton with my two kids and attend Rivertree Jackson.
What led you to LCCS? How did God open the door here?
A friend suggested I apply for the Intervention Specialist position and as I was praying about it, I received an email from a recruiter asking if I would be interested. As I was going through the interview process, my best friend told me I was supposed to teach at LCCS. Each interview was an answer to a prayer and here I am!
What are you most looking forward to in this role?
I am looking forward to working with all the wonderful staff, families, and students at LCCS. Excited to see what doors God is going to open (and close) this year.
Do you have a favorite Bible verse or quote?
Isaiah 40:31:
“They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
What are some of your interests and hobbies?
Outside of school, you will find me lifting at Powerhouse Gym, horse riding, reading, working outside in my yard, or hanging out with my kids.
Tell us about your family.
I have two wonderful human children (three because I count my son’s girlfriend) and three wonderful fur babies. Jon is a sophomore at Capital University majoring in business administration. Kaitlyn (Kathy) is an eighth grader at Northwest Middle School in Canal Fulton. Maddie is a 5-year-old boxer/beagle mix, Max is a 5-year-old terrier mix, and Raven is a 2-year-old black lab/pitbull mix.
