Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I was born in Akron, OH. As a twin, I am the youngest by 6 minutes! We have one older brother.
What led you to LCCS, and how has God opened the door here?
I was here as a part-time school counselor in elementary while I was completing my master’s degree. I left to be a K-12 school counselor at Kingsway Christian School for 2 years. When I heard there was a JH counselor position available, I immediately applied. Last year, I was asked to move to the SH counselor position. I LOVE every age and stage of personhood!
What are you most looking forward to in this new role?
I am looking forward to supporting students in my new role as SH school counselor.
Do you have a favorite Bible verse?
Jeremiah 29:11 — God has plans for us! He has called us for a purpose with a purpose!
Do you have a favorite hobby or interests?
I love singing, exercising, spending time with my dog (Buddy), spending time with my children, and my new granddaughter (another grandchild is on the way).
Tell us about your family.
My husband and I have been married for 32+ years (God is faithful). We have a 14-year-old fur baby named Buddy. We have six adult children, two grandchildren, and one on the way.
