Lake Center Christian School is proud to partner with Uniontown Police Department on their new Art Mural

Lake Center Christian School has partnered with Uniontown Police to create an art mural in the police department.  Chief Michael Batchik has had two fallen officers in the past years.  He wanted a way to honor these fallen heroes.  He has selected a design that will honor the two officers, Captain Daniel Stiles, and Officer Joshua Miktarian, who ended their watch in 2011 and 2008.  

Juniors, Madison Osborne and Sophia Sommers worked with Art Instructor, Mrs. Mary Beth Stauffer to create the art mural. We would also like to thank volunteer, Mrs. Emily Meraj, for her help.  They all did an excellent job. The mural took about two weeks to complete. The Uniontown Police will add to the mural their own shadowbox tributes for Captain Stiles and Officer Miktarian.

The finished mural will be a tribute for years to come to our Uniontown Police Officers who have fallen. Lake Center Christian School is proud to help with this community service project and appreciate all the work that the Uniontown Police do for us at Lake Center.
