Dr. Beeson, Superintendent Message

Dear Parents

The path we have walked this year has been a most unusual one. From our faculty sitting in four days of Canvas training last August to enjoying a Grandparents Day parade, a Senior parade, and a wonderful performance by our elementary group “TRIBE” for chapel –  the path has wound through fear, quarantine, sadness, frustration, and even the death of loved ones. But one thing has been sure – Jesus loves me; He loves you, and He loves our children. Thank you to all those who traveled this path with us. Last August we had nearly 90 students either withdraw or stop the process of enrolling. While we expected nearly 720 students, we opened with 650 students. This year has been a “faith walk” for all of us. God has provided, given us spiritual victories, and strengthened our faith.

II Corinthians 2:14, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.” I pray that these last two weeks of school will encourage us to spread the fragrance of God’s love to all those around us. He has done great things.

Finally, please be patient for a few more weeks. We as a school are doing our best to follow the mandates we are given. We have not only the CDC giving national guidelines, but also the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, and the Stark County Board of Health giving us mandates. So as soon as policies change for our school, we will let you know.

Blessings,
Dr. Joseph Beeson

Superintendent
