Lake Center Christian School has earned the College Board’s AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for attaining female student representation in AP Computer Science Principles (CSP) for 2019-2020 school year and the 2020-2021 school year. Out of 20,000 institutions that offer AP courses, 1,119 have earned the award for the 2020-2021 school year. Lake Center is one of only 859 to be recognized for achieving this important result in AP CSP. This honor acknowledges the outstanding work Lake Center is doing to engage more female students in computer science.
